Digication™ Inc., a leading provider of e-Portfolios, to more than 1,500 academic institutions, including K-12, higher education and school districts, today announced the appointment of Sheila Mehta-Green, Ph.D., as vice president of sales. As a key member of the leadership team, Mehta-Green will help drive Digication's growth by developing new solutions and strategic programs for the educational market.
Mehta-Green's extensive background as an educator at several Boston-area colleges, along with her vast experience in selling educational technology for market leaders including WebCT, Blackboard and Tegrity makes her uniquely qualified for her new role.

Previous to joining Digication, Mehta-Green was a regional vice president of sales at Blackboard (formerly WebCT), a provider of enterprise software and services for the education industry. Most recently Mehta-Green was with Tegrity, Inc., a provider of a Web 2.0 student achievement system for the higher education market. At Tegrity, she was tasked with building out the east coast sales presence and was responsible for collaborating on marketing and strategic plans to help build the customer base for the region.
In addition to her new role at Digication, Mehta-Green continues to teach sociology courses covering business, technology and society at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts and Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Mehta-Green received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
