GeekBrief.TV producers Cali Lewis and Neal Campbell today announced the recent release of iYule.TV along with Paul Colligan of PremiumCast.com and New Media Musician Geoff Smith. iYule.TV offers a beautiful HD fireplace video for iPods, iPhones, Apple TV and computer displays. The Yule Log videos are .mp4 files in resolutions suited to different players. A rich crackling fire soundtrack is enhanced by an original score by Geoff Smith of "Digg the Code" fame.

"Last year, during the holidays, we kept a fireplace video playing on an on-set monitor while shooting GeekBrief.TV," said GeekBriefTV producer Neal Campbell. "Viewers wrote in asking us to make the video available, but we didn't produce it and couldn't release it. Anticipating the same response this year, we shot an original video in HD and had Geoff Smith produce an original soundtrack."

Paul Colligan continued, "I'm thrilled to both promote and support LitLiberation through this project. The concept of redesigning fundraising as a competition with 'world-class' prizes not only wants me to give more -- It's the perfect match for this high-tech project."

"I wrote some original Christmas songs and also snuck in quite a few traditional tunes in as well," added musician Geoff Smith. "I hope that everyone gets warm and cozy with our little fireplace in your pocket."

"It's really romantic in a whimsical kind of way. You're out at dinner and you pull out your iPod and press play. Instant ambiance!" said Cali Lewis, host and producer of GeekBrief.TV.

The producers of the iYule video are donating a percentage of profits to three charities. Paul Colligan is donating to the LitLiberation Project. Geoff Smith is donating to the Songs of Love Foundation, and Neal Campbell and Cali Lewis are donating to Heifer International.

Neal concluded, "The result is mesmerizing. Geoff's music makes it magic."
