Coptech Digital, a Digital Offset print, VHS, CD and DVD duplication service, is announced as award winner in New England Regional Awards of Excellence competition.

Woburn, MA (PRWEB) December 8, 2007 -- The Printing Industries of New England has announced that Coptech Digital of Woburn, Massachusetts is an award winner in the association's New England Regional Awards of Excellence Competition.

The announcement was made November 1, 2007 during PINE's 2007 Industry Awards Gala held at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel in Framingham, MA with hundreds of industry professionals in attendance. PINE's inaugural Awards of Excellence Competition attracted 340 entries from 56 printing and imaging companies in New England.

Coptech Digital, Inc. won a Pinnacle Award (Best of Category) and an Award of Recognition. Panels of three out-of-state judges with extensive experience in printing and print production were brought in to examine the work. Each entry was judged on its own merit in a category with similar printed pieces.

The judging criteria for the competition included registration, clarity and neatness, sharpness of halftones and line drawings, richness and tonal qualities of color, paper and ink selection, ink coverage, difficulty of printing, effective contrast or softness, overall visual impact and bindery.
