UltimateBet.com's online poker championship series gets underway on Friday, December 7th at 8pm ET. The series features 13 poker tournaments spread out over 10 days and promises to pay out over $2-million in guaranteed cash.

Dubbed UBOC by the online poker site, the UltimateBet.com Online Championship features 13 online poker events spread out over 10 days. UBOC offers players the chance to play in a variety of guaranteed online poker games including 6-Seat No Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold'em, Limit Hold'em, and Pot Limit Omaha 8 or better.
The series culminates with a $1000+50 No Limit Texas Hold'em that boasts a $750,000 prize pool. UltimateBet plans to broadcast the final table of the December 16th event online.

- Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke will be playing in a number of events. Any online poker player who knocks either pro out of a tournament will receive a 20-minute poker lesson with that pro via telephone.
- Team UB Bounty Satellites have also been added to the mix. Each satellite pays out at least two seats to its corresponding UBOC event. Online poker players who knock out a Team UB pro will win their buy-in back.
