Precise Digital Launches NOTE-LINK, Links Handwritten Notes/Drawings to Time They Were Done in Video Recordings

Digital Pen links your handwritten notes and drawings and the time they were put to paper to the exact time in the video. Double click your notes -- stored as a PDF on screen -- and NOTE-LINK opens that exact frame in the video for playback. Used for interrogation, interviews, trails, depositions or anyone needing to sort through video.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) December 9, 2007 -- Precise Digital, LLC (www.precisedigital.com) has teamed with Note-Link (www.note-link.com) to announce Note-Link® digital note-taking system that gives users the ability to take handwritten notes and store them as PDF files while recording events. Clicking on any on-screen handwritten note rapidly retrieves the specific event within the digital audio or video recording.

While recording audio or video using any ForTheRecord® application, users take handwritten notes using the Note-Link digital pen and paper. Notes are stored in the Note-Link digital pen and transferred to the user's PC. Stored in an Adobe PDF format, each note is a link to the specific event the user was recording when they wrote their note -- a simple click replays the event within your audio or video. This Note-Link and FTR recording solution safely stores watermarked video, audio and your handwritten notes.

Lyle Jacon, co-founder says, "This solution allows users to take notes in the field, in an office, or in an interview room and link those notes directly to the recorded content. Imagine having a suspect confess on a recording and all you have to do is open your notes, click the link and review the confession."

Jim Little, co-founder, adds, "There really is something cool about being able to have my notes or forms act as an instant recall. By being able to instantly retrieve related recordings from their forms, Investigators, parole boards, review boards now have functionality they never had before."

A typical user would be police investigators, or a child advocacy center, and parole boards conducting interviews.

Note-Link software was developed to integrate ForTheRecord tm applications, the Logitech io2 digital pen and Anoto functionality.

Note-Link comes with software, installation and training from our Tampa-based headquarters.
