Mudd Advertising Announces Creation of 135 New Positions

Mudd Advertising, the nation's largest exclusively automotive marketing agency, announced today that the company anticipates hiring an additional 135 employees over the next three years, bringing the total to 325 employees.
Other regional offices are currently being considered.

Cedar Falls, IA (PRWEB) December 9, 2007 -- Mudd Advertising, the nation's largest exclusively automotive marketing agency, announced today that the company anticipates hiring an additional 135 employees over the next three years, bringing the total to 325 employees.

The newly created positions will have a great financial impact on the Cedar Valley, as the large majority of these hires will be based out of the company's corporate headquarters in Cedar Falls. The new positions are being established as a result of the creation and introduction of several new company products and services, as well as unprecedented growth across existing lines of business.

The company recently created a new Hispanic division to meet the needs of the country's growing Hispanic population. The company hired Tampa based advertising executive Joseph Berrojo to head this new sector. Mr. Berrojo was formerly President and CEO of Berrojo and Associates Advertising, and has worked extensively in the automotive advertising market, speaking both English and Spanish. Berrojo is a graduate of the University of South Florida.

This new division will allow the company to reach an even greater number of dealers and their customers as the Hispanic community is the fastest growing minority in the US. The company's direct marketing division recently added service mailers to its list of products. These mailers will be marketed by employees specifically dedicated and focused to bringing more customers to dealers' service departments. The company also plans to announce a third new product offering during January 2008 that will immediately create 13-15 new positions.

Wendy Jermier, Human Resource Director at Mudd Advertising says, "It is exciting to be able to offer great positions to current residents of the Cedar Valley and be able to draw new residents into our community."

The company's record growth has led to the opening of new offices in Los Angeles and Nashville. "Today our clients demand and expect spontaneous service. These offices will help us meet those needs. Both locations have tremendous future growth potential," says Frank Seng, CFO of Mudd Advertising. "Other regional offices are currently being considered."

Steve Dust, President & CEO of the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance says, "Mudd Advertising is highlighted by the Alliance as a start up firm that has grown to national stature with the talent and technology available in the Cedar Valley. The fact that the Cedar Valley is the location of the Mudd headquarters and their creative center with the largest, most modern sound stage in the Central US, says volumes about how they are moving to higher levels of sophistication and competitiveness. Their demand for 135 more talented professional people is exciting. This growth will spur more housing and tax base for local governments, and more customers for Cedar Valley businesses and services. It also emphasizes that we have to work as hard to retain and attract more well-educated people, to keep our existing businesses growing, as we do to attract more business into our Cedar Valley economy. The leadership of the Mudd firm recognizes this, too, and they have stepped up to become excellent partners in Cedar Valley economic development efforts."
