Author Opens Online Shop Featuring Items Imprinted with 'Smart' Logos

Boyé Lafayette De Mente, internationally known for his books on the etiquette, ethics, cultural code words and languages of China, Japan, Korea and Mexico, has opened an Internet shop featuring products imprinted with smart rules and smart sayings.

Internationally known for his pioneer books on the cultures and languages of China, Japan, Korea and Mexico, De Mente has apparently set out to become an Internet entrepreneur with a "Smart Rules Shop" that includes a "Smart Sayings" section.
    
Merchandise in his Smart Rules Shop includes items imprinted with Dating Rules for Boys, Dating Rules for Girls, 10 Commandments for Husbands and 9 Commandments for Wives.
    
De Mente does not explain why he came up with only nine commandments for married women instead of the usual ten, but the commandments start off with some basic sex-oriented advice that most wives have traditionally had difficulty following.
    
His ten commandments for husbands call for fundamental changes in the way many men perceive and treat their wives.
    
The dating rules for teens are the kind of practical down-to-earth guidelines that parents wish their teens would follow, but generally don't.
    
One of the more interesting logo imprints in the Smart Sayings section of the website is, "Children naturally see the world as a Garden of Eden, only to discover that adults have filled it with snakes!"
    
In addition to buying wearing apparel and other personal imprinted with this logo, you can also get it as a yard sign.
