Key Presentation Ceremony and Dinner: Homes For Our Troops Announces Completion of Specially Adapted Home for Severely Wounded Colorado Veteran

Homes for Our Troops, Vice President/Chief Project Officer, Kirt Rebello will be available for interviews at the American Legion Post 55 located at, 338 North Railroad Ave. Buena Vista, CO on December 13, 2007 at 5:30PM to announce the completion of this building project and host a 6:00pm dinner to thank all who were involved.

Buena Vista, CO (PRWEB) December 13, 2007 -- Homes For Our Troops, a non-profit organization that provides specially adapted homes for severely wounded veterans, announced the completion of the home building project for a severely wounded Sgt Christopher Fesmire.

Sgt Fesmire lost both of his legs when a land mine exploded under his HMMWV in AlQaim, Iraq. Because of their love for Colorado and Chris' love of snow sports, they have moved from California to Colorado. Chris and his wife purchased property in Hartsel, CO, where Homes for Our Troops has built a specially adapted home for them.

Homes for Our Troops is currently seeking land for a 2nd Colorado project in Parker, CO, for SSG Matthew Keil, a newly married 25 year old soldier who was hit by sniper fire near Ramadi, Iraq in February, 2007. The injury left him a quadriplegic, though he has regained some use of his left hand. Homes for Our Troops has completed 18 homes through out the US and has 20 additional projects in various stages of construction.
