Homes For Our Troops Announces Completion of Specially Adapted Home for Severely Wounded Texas Veteran
Homes For Our Troops, Vice President/Chief Financial Officer Tom Benoit, will hold a press conference at 15913 Pine Street, (Galveston County) Santa Fe, TX on December 14, 2007 at 4:00PM to announce the completion of this building project.
Santa Fe, TX (PRWEB) December 13, 2007 -- Homes For Our Troops, a non-profit organization that provides specially adapted homes for severely wounded veterans, announced today the completion of the project for a severely wounded US Army soldier.
SSG Shawn Monroe who was injured while serving with the Army in Iraq, when a mortar round landed near him, outside a Baghdad police station. As a result of that blast, Shawn was left with an above the knee amputation of his left leg, and severe injuries to his right leg. He gets around now with the use of prosthetics, crutches and a wheelchair.
Tom Benoit, Homes For Our Troops, Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, and local volunteers in the community of Santa Fe, would like to extend an invitation to your organization to share in this event with SSG Shawn Monroe, his wife and their three children.
