PicResize Launches New Version
Recent college graduate releases the next generation photo editing tool on the Internet; crop and resize directly in your web browser.
Waltham, MA (PRWEB) December 11, 2007 - When Nich Wattanasin envisioned PicResize.com he wanted to be able to edit his digital photos quickly on the web.
As it turned out, so did thousands of other people. Soon PicResize.com became a must-have for someone who needed to resize, crop, and edit their image directly on the Internet, from any computer with a browser.
I found out that people were logging in and editing their photos from all over the globe," says Wattanasin. With fast connections to the Internet, you no longer have to rely on Microsoft® Paint."
The twenty-three year old founder opened PicResize.com in early 2005 when he was studying at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. To date, more than 1.5 million photos have been edited using the free service.
Privacy issues are not a concern.
I have always had one policy with retention and that is that I dont do it" explains Wattanasin. Every photo that comes in is automatically deleted within twenty minutes. This ensures that your pictures are safe after you finish using PicResize.com."
The next generation PicResize.com version 3.0 debuts today. After one year in development, the new version includes Paint Brushing, Text, Cropping, Resizing, and applying Special Effects directly from your web browser. The goal now: to continue adding more features and functionalities.
After that: Wattanasin is hoping to form strategic partnerships with other companies.
