First Luxury Log Homes Under Construction at Cielo Falls
Blue Ridge Parkway community begins construction on log homes and rustic lodge.
Blue Ridge Parkway, NC (PRWEB) December 20, 2007 -- Cielo Falls, the premier luxury log home community in North Carolina, announces the start of construction on the first four homes as well as the community's grand log Clubhouse. Just a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway near Boone and Blowing Rock, Cielo Falls will feature approximately 250 luxury log homes in an award-winning green development.
Scheduled for completion by early spring, the first four homes will display the range of sizes and layouts designed exclusively for Cielo Falls by Heritage Log Homes. From charming family retreat to grand mountain lodge, these homes all feature log and timber construction, gourmet kitchens, high-speed cable and internet, and an innovative rainwater collection and purification system to provide an environmentally friendly use of water resources.
In addition to the first homes, site preparation is complete and construction is set to begin on the community's 30,000 square foot rustic clubhouse including a 12.000 sq. ft. indoor pool facility. This grand log structure will feature a massive great room, catering kitchen for events, executive center and library, fitness facilities, game room, racquetball court, two tennis courts, a basketball court, media room, and a an expansive hot tub. The lodge will also boast expansive terraces with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The lodge is scheduled for completion in of 2009.
Throughout the development, more than 650 acres of undeveloped green area with miles of low-impact trails and pristine trout steams will provide families with ample room to explore the natural mountain setting. Additional community features will include rustic gazebos, play areas, four intimate outdoor pool facilities and family picnic pavilions.
