GBK Productions gifts more than just celebrities this year with a special donation to the non-profit organization, Educating Young Minds.

GBK Productions, the company behind some of the most exclusive celebrity gift suites that take place in conjunction with the Emmy's, Oscars and Golden Globes, will be "gifting" more than celebrities this holiday season. For the third consecutive year GBK Productions will be donating gifts to the children and young adults involved with Educating Young Minds.

Gavin Keilly, CEO and President of GBK Productions, approached two companies that are always a big hit with the celebrities at his suites, Hasbro and Scene It DVD, about donating to the worthy charity and they happily obliged. In addition to those gifts donated by Hasbro and Scene It DVD, GBK is donating $2,000 worth of toys. Gavin Keilly whose events are largely philanthropic, has grown to have special connection to Educating Young Minds and its founder, Angela Echols."It is amazing to see what Angela has done for these children" said Gavin Keilly. "Her dedication and drive to make a difference is purely inspirational and I am happy to help out in whatever way that I can."

Educating Young Minds
Educating Young Minds was formed to create a rich and diverse supplemental learning environment where students would be encouraged to grow academically, emotionally and socially. Educating Young Minds grew out of the needs of many students and families for supplemental education and counseling, which over-stressed public schools, could not meet. Educating Young Minds, a non-profit learning center, has been helping inner-city school children, ages 5 -18, excel at school and at life since 1987. With home-study instruction during the day, after-school tutoring, and basic skills and SAT, ACT, ISEE and standardized test preparation classes on Saturdays, Educating Young Minds programs serve students who are considered under-represented or at high risk in our society. Educating Young Minds also supports the progressive student who desires advanced academic support. To date, Educating Young Minds has served over 2,000 students and their families. Educating Young Minds also provides counseling, referral to public and social agencies, and information and assistance in securing financial aid and college scholarships. EYM also assists parents in finding placement for students in public magnet schools.
