Top selling Christmas artist of all time lends its talent to Universal Orlando Resort.

Christmas music mega-sensation Mannheim Steamroller has created the musical score for Universal Orlando Resort 's all-new "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" show at Islands of Adventure in honor of the 50th anniversary of the book. The show will feature six songs recorded by Mannheim Steamroller, with new arrangements of "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "Where Are You, Christmas?" There is also one original song created especially for the show titled "Christmas Chorale," written by Michael Roddy, show director of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and accompanied by Mannheim Steamroller.

The songs will be performed by a live cast of "The Whos" characters, including the famous Cindy Lou Who and even the Grinch himself. The group's well-known recording of "Deck the Halls" as well as "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow," from their latest Christmas album, Song, will also be featured in the show and throughout Seuss Landing during the holiday season.

Mannheim Steamroller has sold more than 25 million Christmas records worldwide and their new album, Christmas Song, features collaborations with Johnny Mathis and Olivia Newton-John. This album is already certified Platinum, is currently in the Billboard Top 20 and is #1 on the Billboard New Age Albums chart. "Deck the Halls," from Mannheim Steamroller's first Christmas album, sold 6 million copies. "Stille Nacht" off of the same Christmas album, earned the group a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Arrangement.

"This was a one-time opportunity to blend two completely different holiday standards: the Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller and the wonderful story of The Grinch," said Chip Davis, founder of Mannheim Steamroller. "Each has its own personality, its own feel. It was a wonderful challenge to find a way to bring them together and it gave us a chance to do something unlike anything we've ever done."
