Edmonton, AB (PRWEB) December 12, 2007 -- Chenomx, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Chenomx NMR Suite 5.0, the most significant product launch in Chenomx’s history. Over the past year Chenomx has performed the first ground-up redesign of its industry-leading NMR-based metabolomics software since its initial release over five years ago. This release makes identifying and quantifying metabolites fast and accurate, reduces the time and effort involved with adding custom compound library entries, and makes managing large-scale metabolomics projects easier.
Chenomx NMR Suite is a set of integrated software applications for performing NMR-based metabolomics. By integrating tools for creating and manipulating metabolic profiles, Chenomx NMR Suite allows users to identify and quantify metabolites in complex NMR spectra with unparalleled speed and accuracy.
Chenomx NMR Suite can import data acquired with Varian, Bruker or JEOL spectrometers, as well as data from any JCAMP-DX data source. Chenomx Profiler, part of Chenomx NMR Suite, allows users to rapidly identify and quantify metabolites of interest using Chenomx compound libraries representing over 270 metabolites. Chenomx Compound Builder, also part of Chenomx NMR Suite, allows users to add their own compounds to the installed compound library, making it easy to identify and quantify any metabolite of interest. New and significantly enhanced modules in the 5.0 release include Spin Simulator, for creating quantum-mechanical rules-based simulations of compound lineshapes, and Library Manager, for managing large compound libraries and studies.
