Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA) elects Matt Wilson of Evantage Consulting President.

Minneapolis, MN December 15, 2007 - Evantage Consulting, a management consulting firm specializing in strategic technology and marketing, is excited to announce that Matt Wilson, its Lead Online Marketing Consultant, has been elected President of the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA) board of directors for 2008-2009.

"Evantage Consulting has been a strong supporter of MIMA since its inception," said Robin Carpenter, managing partner. "The organization does an incredible job of bringing the interactive community together, and we're proud to be part of that effort."

Carpenter served as education chair on MIMA's first board of directors from 1998 to 2002. Evantage Lead Business Consultant and Chief Information Officer Bret Busse was president of the MIMA board from 2002 to 2005, and Kate McRoberts, Evantage Consulting partner, has served as programming chair on the MIMA board since 2006. Evantage Consulting is also an annual MIMA sponsor.

"After more than doubling our membership in the past few years, MIMA is positioned for even more growth in 2008," said Wilson. "I'm looking forward to working with our talented board to expand the MIMA brand locally and nationally. We'll also be evolving and improving our programming and strengthening student outreach efforts next year."

Wilson has over 10 years of marketing experience. He joined Evantage Consulting in October 2007 after serving as Online Marketing Manager for North American Membership Group (NAMG), Minneapolis, MN. In 2006 and 2007, Wilson served as Sponsorship Chair on the MIMA board of directors. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of marketing at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and is currently developing an interactive marketing certificate program on behalf of MIMA and MCAD.
