First National Trip for Snowboarders Offered
Snowboarders across the continent are invited to ride and party together at Winter Park, CO, Feb. 6 - 10 in the First Ever All America Snowboard Trip.
Pound Ridge, NY (PRWEB) December 18, 2007 -- Snowboarders across America and beyond are invited to join up this February in Colorado with the editor of SnowboardSecrets.com for the "First Ever All America Snowboard Trip." Editor Lauren Traub Teton concocted the idea for this trip after signing up for ski trips and finding herself the only snowboarder in the group. "It's fun riding with skiers, but I want to have a trip where I can ride and play with snowboarders, who share the same snow culture as me!" says Teton. The trip is open to snowboarders of all ages and levels, including absolute beginners. Flexmeter Snowboard Wrist Guards and Iceberg Vodka are two sponsors of the trip.
This ground package for Winter Park, Colorado, take place February 6 -10, 2008 and includes 4 lodging nights at a motel convenient by free shuttle bus to the slopes, a 3-day lift ticket, several meals and parties for $735. Additional nights can be added based on availability. Transportation to Winter Park is not included.
Experienced shredders will find riding buddies in this group and beginners will find a supportive environment too. Parents can try out snowboarding with their kids. The creators of the trip, Ms. Teton, and Mark Braunstein of Custom Travel Solutions, are long-time serious snowboarders who live for the slopes.
Winter Park has a Top Ten Terrain Park as named by two national magazines, and one of the best superpipes in the nation, as well as a beginner terrain park. It is considered by insiders to be one of Colorado's best kept secrets. Ms. Teton says "skiers are welcome, of course, but for once they will be in the minority." SnowboardSecrets.com has partnered with experienced travel packager Custom Travel Solutions to provide this trip.

Ms. Teton says snowboarding is an ideal sport for those over 30. "It can bring a family together doing something fun, and is easier on the knees than skiing." First time snowboarders are encouraged to read the article "You Don't Have to Hurt Yourself to Snowboard" by Ms. Teton at
