Clients can expect Titan-supported Salentica products within 30 days of Microsoft CRM 4.0 release.

Salentica Systems Inc. announced today that it will begin offering compatible products within 30 days of the next major release of Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM -- code-named "Titan." Titan, an evolution of the popular Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 product, introduces an advanced multi-tenant architecture, and uses a single code base to support on-premise deployments as well as software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployments. Expected to be generally available in early 2008, the Titan CRM will offer a smooth upgrade path for existing on-premise and SaaS customers.

Salentica has been working with Microsoft for the past year under its Technology Adoption Program, and was one of a select group of global partners chosen to be involved from the very early stages of the product development cycle.

"Our early involvement and ongoing investment in product development has allowed us to be very fast off the mark in offering our clients all the benefits of Microsoft's latest CRM release, along with the rich, industry-specific features for which Salentica is known," said Bill Rourke, President, Salentica. "Our products will be available, on both an on-premise and hosted basis, for Titan's release."

To be Titan-ready, Salentica's development group has coded and tested all its products in several deployment scenarios, including on-premise and hosted, to ensure they conform to the standards set out by Microsoft for integration with the CRM platform. Salentica developers have also leveraged some of the features of the new CRM release to enhance the integration of Salentica applications.

Salentica helps wealth management firms, institutional brokers and financial product wholesalers drive revenue and manage their client relationships more effectively with extendible, purpose built modules which track every client touch point and map all activity in the business workflow and processes. All data is instantly captured and retrievable for client service, management reporting and regulatory compliance.

"We expect that the revamped Workflow capability in Titan will be appealing to all our clients," said Rourke. "It will enable them to embed business rules into the workflow engine to ensure consistent application of processes across the organization."

Rourke recommends that companies, wishing to upgrade, set up as a defined project with a budget and timeline. "A good step to take even now is to start building a list of preferred enhancements and changes," he advised. "This list can be prioritized and the requirements matched to the capabilities of the upcoming release. Salentica's professional services group is available to help manage the process."
