Blue Sky Scrubs, an Austin based, medical and nursing scrubs designer/retailer has unveiled new plans to move its manufacturing operations to the Dominican Republic. From the Latin American island the fashionable nursing scrubs manufacturer will be able to streamline its operations.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 19, 2007 -- Medical and nursing scrubs retailer has unveiled new plans to open a new manufacturing plant in the Dominican Republic. The plant will be ready for production in June 2008. The Latin American manufacturing plant will be able to produce complete nursing uniforms including the popular designer scrub collection as well as the retailer's signature scrub hats.
After a record year in sales, Blue Sky Scrubs has seen a 25% increase in revenue mainly in it US and Canadian Markets. After hiring earlier this year Dallas based SEO 1 Services and launching an aggressive internet marketing campaign, international sales have also soared to unprecedented levels opening new opportunities worldwide.
In January 2007, Blue Sky Scrubs launched simultaneously a pilot program in China, India, and the Dominican Republic. Operation blue scrubs as it was know in the marketing trenches of Blue Sky Scrubs was designed to test manufacturing operations, quality control, reliability, and logistics in the 3 countries and assess their impact on the retail operations.
