Jury Awards $500,000 in Slip and Fall Verdict Against CVS in West Palm Beach
After a four day trial, a jury returned a slip and fall verdict in the amount of a half million dollars to attorneys, Mark A. Greenberg and Managing Partner Brian F. LaBovick for their Plaintiff, Tod Flemke, in a case against CVS Pharmacy. Mr. Flemke sustained injuries to his lower back and underwent surgery to repair herniated discs.

After a four day trial, a Jury returned a slip and fall verdict today in the amount of a half million dollars to Attorneys Mark A. Greenberg and Managing Partner, Brian F. LaBovick for their Client, Tod Flemke, in a case against CVS Pharmacy. Mr. Flemke sustained injuries to his lower back and underwent surgery to repair herniated discs.

The Plaintiff slipped and fell over a plug in a CVS store located in Lake Worth, Florida. The CVS Pharmacy store did not place caution or warning signs in the aisle to alert customers to the fact that they were cleaning, despite it being an unwritten policy to place caution signs in front of outlets.
"CVS Pharmacy broke its own policy that caused Mr. Flemke to need back surgery and then took zero responsibility for their actions. It is good to see that the jury system still works and that someone like Mr. Flemke can get to a point of justice," added Brian F. LaBovick, Esq.
