Free Marketing Plan Intensive Helps 1,000 Small Business Owners

The Business Building Roundtable is hosting a free Marketing Plan Intensive for four weeks in January to help 1,000 small business owners make 2008 their best year ever.

To effectively market your business, small business owners need to have a plan. According to Kelly L. LeFevre, MSM and Molly A. Luffy, MBA, Marketing Strategists, and co-founders of the Business Building Roundtable (BBR), "It's not surprising how many small businesses fail every year when you consider the number of entrepreneurs who try to run their businesses without a marketing plan. Trying to market your business without a comprehensive marketing plan is like winking at someone in the dark. You may be taking action but won't be getting the results that you want."

According to the Small Business Administration, lack of planning is one of the top five reasons small businesses fail. A well-written marketing plan outlines specific steps and time lines so you know exactly what to do throughout the year to grow your business. You will also be operating from a framework to track your progress so you know what is working for you -- stop wasting time guessing what does and doesn't work for you.

To help these small business owners get started effectively marketing their businesses in 2008, LeFevre and Luffy will host a free "Marketing Plan Intensive" during their weekly Business Building Roundtable (BBR) conference calls during the month of January. The Marketing Plan Intensive begins on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 12 noon, EST. For more information, go to Business Building Roundtable.

"We are so committed to helping business owners make 2008 their best year ever, we decided to help 1,000 of them write their Marketing Plan - for free," said Luffy. "We know having a specific, goal-driven marketing plan has an incredibly positive effect on one's bottom line - not to mention sanity."

"We will be demystifying the planning process and walking people through it, step by step," states Luffy. They will be discussing the four steps for creating a highly effective marketing strategy during the BBR calls in January.

Business coaches, LeFevre and Luffy, are the authors of the upcoming book Unleash Your Marketing Karma: How to Build Your Business by Giving It Away, launched the Business Building Roundtable in July of 2007. This free virtual community helps service-based solo & micropreneurs to share powerful business growth strategies, brainstorm solutions to their most pressing business challenges and discuss how to market and grow their businesses.
