John Roberts Company Presented Octourberfest

Printer's expanded capabilities showcased during two-day affair.

Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) December 23, 2007 -- Over 350 customers and suppliers recently turned out for the "Octourberfest" held at The John Roberts Company. The two-day event, modeled after the famous festival, provided an opportunity for guests to tour the company's newly finished expansion while enjoying some German-style hospitality.

Attendees registered online in advance for the event where they were asked if they went to Germany for Oktoberfest in which city would they most like to visit and what mode of travel would they prefer. Their photo was taken as they came in and when they left they received a personalized postcard based on their registration responses. After taking the tour, guests savored traditional refreshments such as bratwurst and beer while tapping their toes to live polka music.

In July, The John Roberts Company welcomed the addition of their John Roberts Direct (JR Direct) unit, a full-service digital printing company, which relocated to the Coon Rapids, MN, headquarters of its parent company. In conjunction with the relocation, JR Direct purchased a Kodak Nexpress 2500 digital color press.

The five-color press includes four Pantone-approved printing units and a fifth unit that can be used for the application of spot colors or coatings. The Nexpress 2500 can print on a wide range of stock sizes, weights and thicknesses, making it a versatile solution for everything from brochures and customized direct mail to light packaging applications.
