Manchester, NH (PRWEB) December 31, 2007
SilverTech has been honored by the American Design Awards with a prestigious Gold Award for the New England-based interactive agency's design of the official Life is good® website, http://www.lifeisgood.com.
More than 700 entries were received from designers around the world for the awards program. As a Gold Award honoree, SilverTech's work was judged to be "inspiring, unique and creative."
Life is good® is the popular lifestyle brand of optimistic clothing and accessories featuring the stick figure character Jake. The company sells more than $80 million in T-shirts, hats, coffee mugs and other gear annually, much of it online.
"It's great that this competition recognizes the importance of usability in site design," stated Nick Soggu, President of SilverTech. "Many times sites that win these kinds of awards tend to be flashy and animated, but they impede practical usability. SilverTech collaborated with Life is good designers to ensure that the site was not only well-branded, but also easy to use. And they've enjoyed great results because of it."
