Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) December 31, 2007 -- The Old Never Die Store (http://www.oldneverdie.com) has introduced special edition Old Never Die apparel, housewares, and bags in honor of 10 diverse international celebrities who said goodbye in 2007.

For the not-so-famous, the website prints more than 300 variations of the phrase, "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away," made famous by Gen. Douglas MacArthur, on T-shirts, mousepads, caps, and more. "Old accountants never die, they just lose their balance," is a popular variation that many people may be familiar with.

In a break from its tradition, the site recently created designs in honor of ten superstars: Anna Nicole Smith, Model/Actress; Evel Knievel, Daredevil; Ingmar Bergman, Filmmaker; Art Buchwald, Humorist; Oscar Peterson, Jazz Pianist; Marcel Marceau, Mime; Beverly Sills, Opera Diva; Porter Wagoner, Grand Ole Opry Star; Luciano Pavarotti, Opera Star; and Norman Mailer, Writer.

"At this time of year everyone will look back at 2007 and remember the people who are no longer here. When we looked back, we realized that we were uniquely positioned to capture the admiration and revere that fans have for these celebrities," said the website owner, Robert Turner.

Turner adds, "Our designs feature unique captions such as, Marcel Marceau -- Old mimes never die, they just wave goodbye and Ingmar Bergman -- Old filmmakers never die, they just get reel tired. In addition to the captions, each design features a colorful image in the center."

With these special edition items, countless fans around the world can mark the 2007 passing of their favorite celebrities and keep their memories alive. The special edition items are only available on-line through the Old Never Die Store at http://www.oldneverdie.com.
