Matt Bacak Hot on the Trail of Google/AOL Changes - ThePowerfulPromoter.com Sending Out the Bloodhounds to Hunt Down and Deflect Latest Internet Marketing Impacts

Both Google and AOL have recently implemented changes that have the potential to profoundly impact Internet marketers, but one individual is staying on top of the situation for them. "The Powerful Promoter," Matt Bacak, has sent out the scent hounds to sniff down these latest headaches so Internet Marketers can carry on with business as usual.

Duluth, GA (PRWEB) February 9, 2007 -- Google is at it again, and this time AOL is jumping into the ring. The two Internet kings have recently implemented changes that have the potential to drastically impact the way Internet marketers go about their business…and not in a good way, says Matt Bacak, "The Powerful Promoter." Staying on top of the situation can be a full-time job in and of itself, but what's a successful Internet marketer to do? Turn to "The Powerful Promoter," that's what. Within hours of the announcements being made, PromotingTips.com's Matt Bacak was already alerting his customers and subscribers to the situation so they could deflate the issue before it turned into a major balloon. Internet marketers who would like to keep up to date on Google and AOL's latest stunts can learn his Promoting Tips at his website.

What exactly are these changes and how do they affect Internet marketers? From the Google standpoint, the search engine giant has incorporated what amounts to a bomb-sniffing algorithm into its ranking system. In effect, what this algorithm does is somehow manage to identify and neutralize any concerted effort Internet marketers may be making to skew search results for a specific word or phrase. "It's a machine that Google's highly paid coders have tweaked to do precisely what?Google instructs it to do, even if that meand filtering results to protect the company's reputation. What it boils down to is that Web pages are no longer being ranked solely according to the number?of links they receive from other sites," explains Bacak.

If that weren't inciting enough, AOL's latest change really sets Bacak's blood boiling. Getting email through to the 56 million AOL mail users just got trickier than ever before. That's because the company has essentially shut down anything but whitelisted, CAN-SPAM-compliant, Habeus or Goodmail-stamped email (Goodmail being AOL's own--and largely outdated--concept). And because every message that is marked as spam by an AOL email user (intentional or otherwise) is investigated, even good, clean servers are at risk of being blocked. Not exactly good news when your livelihood depends on reliable email delivery.

One thing Bacak suggests Internet marketers can do to overcome this obstacle is to make sure they are abiding by CAN-SPAM regulations. "Make sure you put your address, an unsubscribe link and a real phone number in the footer of all your emails," he recommends. Of course, signing up for PromotingTips.com's Internet marketing dirt will ensure you always stay one step ahead of the game.
