PhotoWorks Launches PhotoStreamer2® Software For Mac

New Desktop Application Lets iPhoto Users Upload, Organize and Order Hundreds of Photos Fast

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) February 9, 2007 --
PhotoWorks®, Inc. (OTCBB:PHTW) -- a leading online digital photo-publishing company -- today announced PhotoStreamer2® software for Mac, a free application that allows Mac users to rapidly upload hundreds of digital images and view, organize, and order prints directly from their desktop. In addition, PhotoStreamer2 features Drag & Drop, which can be used in conjunction with iPhoto or other Mac photo applications, making it easier than ever to access PhotoWorks' design-driven line of Photo Books, Cards, Keepsakes and Calendars. The free download is available at www.photoworks.com/software/getPhotoStreamer.jsp.

"PhotoWorks' commitment to superior design and more creative options for photo products is evident across our entire product line," said Andy Wood, PhotoWorks President and CEO. "Our personalized cover Photo Books give more inspired, design-driven options for iPhoto users and other consumers looking for something out of the ordinary. PhotoStreamer2 provides the best method for uploading libraries of digital photos so our users can easily create memorable products."

Our personalized cover Photo Books give more inspired, design-driven options for iPhoto users and other consumers looking for something out of the ordinary. PhotoStreamer2 provides the best method for uploading libraries of digital photos so our users can easily create memorable products.
Streamlining Photos
Because PhotoStreamer2 works in sync with PhotoWorks accounts, photos can be uploaded directly into PhotoWorks albums. Users can also create new albums. PhotoStreamer2 automatically signs users in to their online accounts once the upload is completed.

Whether working from a Mac or PC, PhotoStreamer2 offers two quick ways to gather photos for uploading. Under the "Select Photos" tab, "Drag & Drop" mode allows users to select any number of images and drag them directly onto the workspace, or they can select entire folders directly from the "Get Photos" option in the menu bar.

View, Caption, Sequence
PhotoStreamer2 features full-screen viewing, captioning, rotation and shuffle so photos are ready to go for slideshow sharing or photo book making on PhotoWorks.com. A handy zoom tool lets users control the number of images on the workspace -- "zoom in" for fewer photos and a closer look, "zoom out" to see a more comprehensive view. For batch edits, PhotoStreamer2 allows users to select any number of images for simultaneous captioning and rotation.

Prints Express
The new "Prints Express" feature allows members to quickly and easily place orders for hundreds of prints. Unlike other sites, the upload happens AFTER order information is entered (address, credit card, etc.). "Prints Express" lets users queue up their order and walk away while it transmits to PhotoWorks. After all photos are uploaded, "Prints Express" automatically places the order. Simply hit the upload button and continue working on other projects. Click it and leave it!

Prints may be customized by selecting a desired paper finish and border style. PhotoStreamer2 also features "Zoom & Trim" which adjusts an image to fill the entire photo paper, leaving no white edges. For 4 x 6" and 5 x 7 prints, users may take advantage of upload optimization that reduces the upload time by sizing files just for these print sizes.
