Palm Beach Gardens, FL (PRWEB) March 17, 2007 -- Winning Kids Corporation, a member of TIA (Toy Industry Association), announced today that its president Christian Hainsworth has become a member of The Palm Beach County Cultural Council. The Palm Beach County Cultural Council is a multi-faceted cultural organization with top priorities that include marketing the county for cultural tourism, advocating for cultural funding, supporting arts and education.

For more than 25 years, the Palm Beach County Cultural Council has taken a leadership role in nurturing, promoting and celebrating the cultural community in one of Florida's largest and most diverse counties. Established in 1978 by visionary community leader Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr, the organization is officially recognized by the Board of County Commissioners as the county's advisory agency for cultural development and administers a portion of local development funds under contract with county government.

The Council has been innovative and influential in creating funding mechanisms for cultural organizations in the county. Its efforts led to voter approval of a tourism tax in 1982 that has provided over $36 million in grants. In 2002, it played a key role in passing a $50 million bond issue for cultural facilities, the impact of which will be felt by residents in every corner of the county for decades to come.

Winning Kids Incorporated produces the "Winning Kids with Traveling Bear" series of 14 beautifully illustrated adventure books that each come with a read-a-long audio CD of the stories. The program was designed by a team of experts to instill in kids life skills that will help them learn positive behavior, develop a winning attitude, build leadership qualities and help them become happy, well-adjusted, wining adults. The read-a-long audio CDs are specifically designed to build strong reading skills and an enjoyment of reading in a fun and easy way. The ability to read fluently and the natural enjoyment of reading will open the doors of learning, success and opportunity for any child.

The "Winning Kids with Traveling Bear" series will be marketed in mid 2007 through a national Direct Response Television advertising campaign.
