The Anoushavan Abrahamian Education Fund ("AAEF"), a Non-Profit Organization Dedicated to Youth Education Worldwide, Launches New Website

The website for the Anoushavan Abrahamian Education Fund - the AAEF - details Projects Underway in Ten Regions in Armenia.

Yerevan, Armenia (PRWEB) April 3, 2007 -- The new website for the Anoushavan Abrahamian Education Fund ("AAEF") , located at www.AAEFund.org was launched today, with the objective of providing easy access to the foundation's wide-ranging initial pilot programs in Armenia.

"Our new website will allow charitable donors and our non-profit and corporate partners, to make easy updates of information about our projects, " said Anoushavan Abrahamian, founder of AAEF, "our pilot programs in Armenia are located in ten different Marzes, or regions, so having information available in one place on the Internet is not only exciting, but very helpful."

The new AAEF website also identifies and profiles AAEF's Board members, and allows the charitable-giving public to contact any or all of the Board members by email, for any questions, ideas, or other comments. The website has extensive images of ongoing projects, with plans for expansion of the image database as each project moves further towards completion.

"We are grateful to the interest of the general public, and the Armenian Diaspora, in what we are doing at AAEF," said Mr. Abrahamian, "with so many interested parties situated around the world, a comprehensive website describing our activities was really the only way to keep information flowing to those wanting further information, to make a donation or adopt a section of program to support our youth education programs, or to volunteer to participate in some way."

The Anoushavan Abrahamian Education Fund seeks to enrich the lives of disadvantaged youth worldwide by providing enhanced educational opportunities, particularly in the areas of vocational skills training. Some of AAEF programs are focused specifically on improving trade skills education for rural youth that will increase their opportunities for satisfying employment.

In Armenia, AAEF's program seeks to reduce poverty and unemployment, and to stem the flow of youth migration from Armenia's rural towns and villages due to a lack of job skills that match available local job opportunities. The Anoushavan Abrahamian Education Fund program for Armenian vocational high schools is a permanent commitment to those schools selected for the AAEF program.

The AAEF also plans a Social Fund to provide textbooks and other learning materials for needy children and families, as well as extensive after-school programs in areas of academics, arts, culture, and sports activities. A Scholarship Fund is also envisioned to support gifted students in their higher education and advanced studies. The Anoushavan Abrahamian Education Fund is an independent, non-profit non-governmental 501(c) 3 organization, founded in 2004.

An independent school committee, established by AAEF in cooperation with Arch Diocese of all 10 regions in Armenia for each VHS, comprised of 50% parents, 25% teachers, 25% students, 1 impartial representative of school administration and chaired by representative of region's Diocese will oversee the coordination and implementation of AAEF programs in each of the AAEF sponsored schools.
