The law firm of Brayton Purcell is proud to be a sponsor of Marin County performances by Circus Chimera for the benefit of the Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise. Funds from the performances support the Rotary Club's many charitable and service activities.
Novato, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2007 -- The law firm of Brayton Purcell is proud to be a sponsor this year of Marin County performances by Circus Chimera, a professional traveling tent circus featuring clowns, acrobats, juggling acts and daredevil stunts. The tour is a major fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise, which has been bringing the group to the county every year since 1997.
Funds from the performances support the Rotary Club's many charitable and service activities. In Marin County, California, the organization has contributed to local schools to refurbish classrooms, install a garden, provide scholarships and aid children with special needs. It also helped purchase two vans for the Novato Youth Center and installed smoke alarms in Novato mobile homes at no cost to the residents. Among its international activities, the Rotary Club brought a Russian orphan to California to receive treatment for his severe birth defects, and provided medicines and medical supplies for poor families.
The Rotary Club fundraiser takes place on Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 through May 28, at the St. Vincent's Grounds in San Rafael, an area near St Vincent's School for Boys at 1 St. Vincent's Drive. From Highway 101 in Marin County, take the Marinwood/St Vincent's Drive exit just south of the Highway 37 exit. Travel east after you exit.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, at 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and at 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Advance tickets are being sold at many Novato businesses including Apple Market and the Bank of Marin.
