Latino Coaches Association Announces International Grand Opening

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) April 5, 2007 -- Seeing a need to help Latino coaches of sports, John Saintignon, Director of Basketball Operations at Oregon State University, announced today the opening of the Latino Coaches Association (LCA). The Latino Coaches Association is a non-profit international organization committed to the career development, advocacy and community impact for men and women Latino coaches of athletics.

As President of the Latino Coaches Association, Saintignon has vowed to promote career development programs and career opportunities for Latinos coaching sports. The Association will also positively impact members through advocacy, networking, and community involvement programs.

"By promoting the development of Latino coaches, all aspects of society benefit. Before the LCA, nothing was being done to formally represent and promote the interests of Latinos in athletics. That's why we formed the Latino Coaches Association."

The Latino Coaches Association invites participation from men and women paid to coach any sport from all levels of play. Primary members will come from paid coaches at the middle school, high school, college, professional, Olympic and club levels of athletic competition. Members benefit from an aggressive program of career development, coaching strategy and tactics, networking events, exclusive member seminars and conventions, community outreach programs, player development programs and member discounts.
