(PRWEB) May 3, 2007 -- This Mother's Day, don't merely send the same flower bouquet you sent last year. Instead, give the gift of flowers, art and fashion by presenting her with a kulisilk floral silk scarf. kulisilk scarves were born out of an idea to take floral photographs, digitally manipulate them and print them on luxurious silk satin. The result is a stunning, artistic scarf can be worn in a variety of ways.

Photographer David Kulaas found a way to fuse his love for photography and, through an intricate process, create silk scarves from his floral abstractions. The scarves are created out of light-weight silk satin, and come in three sizes (12 inches by 60 inches, 12 inches by 72 inches, and 36 inch square).

"The moment a woman feels the extravagant texture of the scarves and puts it on, she is in love," said David Kulaas, founder and artist for kulisilk, named after his father's nickname Kulie. "There is no other company making anything like this, which adds value and exclusivity to a gift that already speaks for itself."

kulisilk scarves are sold at Eccentricity and Eve in Denver, Kiss Me Kate in Phoenix, Ptarmigan in Golden, Colo., Changes in Portland, Ore. and Apropos in Fashion Island in Newport Beach. They are available nationally at www.kulisilk.com. The scarves can be sent directly to Mom anywhere in the U.S. with a personalized note for a $5.95 shipping and handling fee.
