Cruising, Concerts and Coleslaw: Daytona Bike Week Still the Coolest

Daytona Bike Week 2007, the motorcycle party of the season, has come and gone, but the sights and sounds of the rockin' rally live on at the Harley-Davidson® Web site www.h-d.com/daytona. Visitors to the site can relive the action they experienced at Daytona, or get an up-close look at the hot happenings they might have missed. For the first time in the history of the annual event, which took place March 3-10, some of the best moments were captured on video, in photographs, and in daily blogs by more than a dozen Harley-Davidson biker-writers, photographers and producers.

Daytona, FL (PRWEB) April 27, 2007 -- Daytona Bike Week 2007, the motorcycle party of the season, has come and gone, but the sights and sounds of the rockin' rally live on at the Harley-Davidson® Web site www.h-d.com/daytona.

The team of riding and roving reporters hit the road daily, went behind the scenes, and posted all things Daytona to the events section of Harley-Davidson.com.

Biker Billy Cooks with Fire
Hot action, cool people

The Harley-Davidson® Daytona coverage offers a look at the main events of Daytona Bike Week, as well as a peek at some of the gathering's more unusual - but wildly popular - happenings. Site postings include:

DAYTONA DAILY
Harley-Davidson® provided full coverage of the bikes, new products, races and daily goings-on that made Daytona Bike Week the year's standout event. From the Ball of Steel Stunt Show to Harley-Davidson NHRA Pro Stock Drag Racing to the Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show, our team hit the road to get the real stories behind the week's people and places.

THE ADVENTURERS with Pete Steinkopf and Bryan Kienlen of the Bouncing Souls
Just how rockin' was the rally? Pete and Bryan traveled to their own beat and experienced some of Daytona Bike Week 's most popular events, including Harley-Davidson® custom bike contests, coleslaw wrestling, the wall of death stunt riders, concerts at the Harley-Davidson Stage, and talent shows that featured everything from burping to belly dancing.

IDLE CHAT with Biker Billy
Biker Billy, a dedicated Harley rider and host of a syndicated television cooking show "Biker Billy Cooks with Fire," made the rounds at Daytona Bike Week to get a real feel for the vibe, the bikes and the people. Site visitors can read his stories about riders from around the globe - everywhere from Virginia to Vegas, Mexico to Michigan, Florida to France. Vowing to keep it real, Biker Billy tells the story of a French couple who actually traveled to Daytona Bike Week to get married.

CUSTOM SHOWCASE with 'Gear Head' Beau Allen Pacheco
Motorcycle journalist, former Big Twin magazine editor and Harley-Davidson® enthusiast Beau Allen Pacheco looked for - and found - the ultimate custom motorcycles, the wildest creations, and the nuts and bolts of how riders wrenched them together. His Daytona Bike Week postings offer a hard core look at unique bikes, striking airbrushed images, custom wheels, and more. Not to be missed is his coverage of the Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show, featuring more than 100 bikes from around the world, some modified for cruising the streets and others looking like they just rode out of a science fiction movie.
Free Bike Week Screensavers, Photos, and Wallpapers.

The Harley-Davidson® Daytona Web site Daytona Bike Week photo gallery. Throughout Bike Week, a team of all-pro photographers zoomed in on the stunning beauty of the Daytona area, the enthusiasm of riders, and the pure love of riding that made this Bike Week a celebration without equal.
