Hurricane Season 2007 Satellite Phone Rental Packages Now Available

All Road Communications announces special package deals for satellite phone rentals for the upcoming 2007 Hurricane Season.
Our Hurricane Season rental packages are designed for long term rentals, usually running for at least 3 months. The Season officially runs from June 1 to November 30, but not everyone rents for the entire period

San Diego, Calif. (PRWEB) May 4, 2007 -- America's leading satellite phone rental company, San Diego based All Road Communications (http://www.allroadsat.com) today announces the availability of its rental packages for the 2007 Hurricane Season.

"This year we are offering our customers a choice of Iridium satellite phones for Hurricane Season, we have both the Iridium 9500 and the Iiridium 9505A to choose from," said All Road's Chris Hoar.

"Both these phones work on the same great Iridium Network, but the lower purchase cost of the 9500 enables us to pass on big savings to our long term rental customers. As well as the Iridium phones we are again offering the Globalstar GSP-1600 phones for rent to certain customers," he said.

The All Road pricing for Hurricane Season Iridium rentals starts from as low as $24.99 per week and $1.20 per minute, if you buy a 500 minute bundle.

Satellite phones are an essential part of any emergency preparedness plan, as they are the only phones that will work when the land lines are down and the cell towers are out. Sat phones operate independently of the land based phone networks and the power grid.

"Our Hurricane Season rental packages are designed for long term rentals, usually running for at least 3 months. The Season officially runs from June 1 to November 30, but not everyone rents for the entire period," said Hoar. "We also offer steep discounts on all accessories for these packages, including solar panels, car kits and waterproof hard cases."

This year All Road is also offering aggressively priced post paid plans for those who wish to buy a sat phone.

"Whilst our prices for long term rentals are very low, sometimes it makes more sense to buy the phones, so we have put together service packages starting at just $39.99 per month including 10 minutes free, and $899 for the Iridium 9500 handsets," he said.

All Road also offers data kits enabling internet access from Iridium phones. The Iridium data speeds are not fast at 9.6K, but totally sufficient for email access and basic web surfing. For thiose needing faster internet access All Road rents the Thrane & Thrane 500 mobile unit for use with the Inmarsat Network.

All Road not only rents, but buys, sells and repairs almost all makes and brands of satcom equipment. All Road is open 24 hours a day for sales and support, and can ship your equipment immediately for next or even same day delivery within the continental USA and Western Europe.

To get a free no obligation quote for a satellite phone rental call All Road anytime at 1-888-884-7623, or you may visit them online at http://www.allroadsat.com
