Former FEC Chairman Michael E. Toner to Speak at Vocus Users' Conference

Toner will speak at the company's annual Users' Conference on June 7, 2007. Michael Toner chairs the Election Law and Government Affairs Practice Group at Bryan Cave LLP in Washington, DC. Mr. Toner previously served as chairman of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) in 2006 and as a Commissioner from 2002-2006. Prior to serving at the FEC, Mr. Toner was chief counsel of the Republican National Committee. Mr. Toner's writings on campaign finance matters have been featured in publications including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Washington Times, Hill Newspaper and Roll Call. He is a contributing author of an upcoming book on the 2006 midterm election entitled The Sixth Year Itch as well as Divided States of America: The Slash and Burn Politics of the 2004 Presidential Election. In addition, he has appeared as a guest commentator on Fox News Channel, ABC News, CBS Evening News, Bloomberg News, C-SPAN and National Public Radio.
