The Kingdom Kidz Club is not simply a children's CD, and it is not a curriculum

(PRWEB) May 9, 2007 -- The Kingdom Kidz Club has announced a June 19th release date for its debut CD, The Kingdom Kidz Club, Volume 1, which will be distributed to Christian retail stores in North America through a new long-term distribution agreement with Infinity Music Distribution. The new deal will allow the groundbreaking ministry to help families nationwide to "Learn God's Word One Song at a Time" through a variety of kid-friendly CD releases and products created to help families learn the Bible together.

The ministry has established a goal of enrolling 1 million "kidz" by the end of 2008. Families can join The Kingdom Kidz Club for free, by simply registering online at the official interactive website at www.kingdomkidzclub.com. Members receive the monthly e-zine "KidzNewz" and a free club pin, and visitors to the site can also view the new informational 4-1-1 Video, which helps families get off to a quick start in the club.

The Kingdom Kidz Club is, in part, the answer to the dilemma of how to spiritually nourish stressed-out, time-challenged families. "As Christian parents, we understand the need for family time that is set aside for God, but acknowledge the struggle of teaching our children the Bible and the stigma that comes with it," says Kim Norton, founder and Head Big Kid. "As ministers, we understand that providing spiritual guidance and leadership in the family can be very intimidating. So the need for resources and a plan to assist families who desire family spiritual growth is our passion!"

Norton is quick to point out that The Kingdom Kidz Club is a family resource, not a curriculum. "There are so many wonderful programs that are church based and teach Bible memorization; however there are few resources that parents and kidz can use in their everyday lives. Our goal is to get parents and kidz talking about God and His Word! The Kingdom Kidz is designed for use in the car, minivan or SUV while you are driving to and from practices, rehearsals and lessons. That is why we call ourselves a 'Club on Wheels!' It is our goal to see families use their drive time to learn God's Word."

In January of 1999, Norton was driving down the interstate in Little Rock, Arkansas, having just received the news that her 2 ½ year old daughter not only had a stroke at birth which resulted in Cerebral Palsy, but also had a form of autism known as Asperger's Syndrome. In a moment of desperation, Kim cried out to God to show her how she was going to do something as simple as get the message of the Bible into her daughters. "Sing it into them..." was the answer she heard, and The Kingdom Kidz Club was born. Now eight years later, a moment of desperation has now become a tool that families can use to learn more of God's Word.

Often referred to as "School House Rock for the Bible," The Kingdom Kidz Club is winning fans of all ages, and earning celebrity endorsements along the way. "The Kingdom Kidz Club is a great resource for getting the Word into our children," says Grammy and Dove Award winning songwriter Gloria Gaither. "Kim Norton was a student in my song-writing class at Anderson University and has continued to excel in writing, especially for children and for parents of young children. She has a heart for God."

In addition to an aggressive national marketing and branding campaign for the debut CD project, "The Kingdom Kidz Club Live!" is heading to churches and venues across the country in 2007, so families are sure to spot the Kingdom Kidz Club Car on U.S. highways. The Kingdom Kidz Club can also be heard daily on American Family Radio's KidzRadio!

"The Kingdom Kidz Club is not simply a children's CD, and it is not a curriculum," adds Norton. "It is a tool! A tool moms can use to inspire their kidz to know the Bible! A tool sitting on a shelf is useless. But, in the hands of a caring user, it can be utilized to create a masterpiece! I want to see parents use The Kingdom Kidz Club to creat a spiritual masterpiece in their children!"
