Bodybuilding.com to Provide Live Webcasts for the 2007 IFBB Shawn Ray Colorado Pro/Am Classic
Bodybuilding.com announced an agreement today with The Colorado Pro Show to provide a free, live webcast of the Vyo-Tech Nutritionals Shawn Ray Colorado Pro/Am Classic Bodybuilding Championship. The webcast, presented by ISS Research, will include the Women's IFBB Pro Figure Championship and the IFBB Men's Pro Bodybuilding Championship. The webcast will be available for free at Bodybuilding.com.
Boise, ID (PRWEB) May 21, 2007 -- Bodybuilding.com announced an agreement today with The Colorado Pro Show to provide a free, live webcast of the Vyo-Tech Nutritionals Shawn Ray Colorado Pro/Am Classic Bodybuilding Championship. The webcast, presented by ISS Research, will include the Women's IFBB Pro Figure Championship and the IFBB Men's Pro Bodybuilding Championship. The webcast will be available for free at Bodybuilding.com.
The prejudging of the women's event will air live on Friday night, June 1st, at 6pm MDT. The men's prejudging will air live on Saturday afternoon, June 2nd, at 1pm MDT. The finals for both championships will air live on Saturday night, June 2nd, at 6pm MDT. The event will also feature NPC competition, a strength and fitness expo, and MMA fighting. Webcast viewers will have the opportunity to vote to decide the men's and women's 4Ever Fit Fans' Choice Award. Online voting will begin with the prejudging web cast. A trophy and a cash prize of $500 will be awarded on stage at the end of the program to the male and female athletes with the most votes.
Competing for the men's title won by Phil Heath in 2006 is an impressive lineup, with names such as Dennis James, Johnny Jackson, David Henry, Darrem Charles, and fresh off his win in the New York Pro, Branch Warren. Valerie Waugaman, winner of the 2006 IFBB Pro Figure Championship, will return this year to defend her championship.
The webcasts will be hosted by Bodybuilding.com's Bob Chicherillo and ProBodybuilding Weekly host Dan Soloman and will be produced by Chapman Media Group. The free web cast is another in a series of Bodybuilding.com/Flex Productions and will also be available at Flexonline.com
