The Strategy Institute (http://www.strategyinstitute.com) today announced a new Summit entitled: "Brand Activation Strategies using Digital Out-of-home Media" taking place on Monday, June 18th and Tuesday, June 19th in New York City. The Summit will serve as a forum for top advertisers from across North America to learn more about digital out-of-home media and how best to integrate this platform into media plans.

Research firm PQ Media, recently released a report noting the digital out-of-home space is expected to grow 28% year over year, one of the quickest pace of any new media.

"Marketers are leveraging digital media in wildly creative ways to continue to build awareness, drive sales lift, better target customers and measure results in real-time," says Steve Diorio a partner at Profitable Channels, a leading research firm. "Recent campaigns from companies like Nike, Dove, Absolut Vodka and Lexus have leveraged this new media platform as part of their media plan to reach their target audience."

Summit organizers are pleased with the response to-date from media executives. Brand clients and ad agencies confirmed to be in attendance include: IBM, Anheuser-Busch, Cole Haan, Fuji, Estee Lauder, Lufthansa, Brown-Forman, USA Today, Cotton, Inc., KAO Brands, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Land Rover, Saturn, Sun Microsystems, Diageo Beverages, Target, Red Lobster, ZenithOptimedia, MediaVest, Kastner & Partners, WOW Agency, Kinetic Worldwide, Fallon, CBS Outdoor, Lamar Advertising, and JC Decaux..

"We look forward to working directly with brand managers and agency executives to assist them in understanding how to buy and evaluate the effectiveness of out-of-home video advertising networks," said Kim Norris, president of the Out of Home Video Advertising Bureau. "We have a number of ideas and strategies advertisers can leverage to best utilize this new media platform." Summit organizers are pleased to have the support of OVAB, an industry association formed earlier this year with the mission to educate the media community on the power and availability of out-of-home video networks and promotes their use.

The Strategy Institute, a North American think tank established in 1994 is developing this summit and is headed by its Harvard educated director, David Laird. "This first ever event will provide advertisers with tactics to maximize their media investment and produce customer centric, media neutral, measurable, bold campaigns." said Mr. Laird. "We expect some breakthrough insights at this summit that will provide a foundation for future brand marketing strategies."
