SweetWater Brewery Raising Funds to Help Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper Save the Chattahoochee River

A Portion of all proceeds from the every case of beer SweetWater sells in June will be used to help Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's efforts to protect our river. SweetWater beer displays will be in stores all over Atlanta letting consumers know how the program works, ways they can help, and SweetWater's goal of raising $30,000 for the cause.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 1, 2007 -- A Portion of all proceeds from the every case of beer SweetWater sells in June will be used to help Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's efforts to protect our river. SweetWater beer displays will be in stores all over Atlanta letting consumers know how the program works, ways they can help, and SweetWater's goal of raising $30,000 for the cause.

Additionally a large portion of the funds for this program will be raised through the "Sale of Fish" in package stores and bars all over town. For $1 you will receive a Trout, paper of course, where you can customize your donation to show your support as these retailers will display the contributions and help us raise funds for the program. Protection of Atlanta's most vital resource is something we all must take action on. We have used its water's for fun, relaxation, beauty, fishing, brewing beer, and our survival. We have worked with the folks from the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper on many projects in the past. They have shown us how delicate the Chattahoochee River's stability is, and continue to show us ways we can help. This campaing is our turn to help make a difference.
   
SweetWater will also be giving away a trip for 6 to The High Country Adventure Lodge in north Georgia with a rafting trip down the Ocoee River. Finalist for this trip and other cool "Save the Hooch" prizes will be given at various in-bar promotions throughout Metro Atlanta. While the folks from SweetWater are in the bars running "Fishing" games we will raffle off prizes to those who have purchased $1 fish during the promo. SweetWater is a 45,000 barrel Microbrewery located in mid-town Atlanta. We have been in business since the fall of 1996 and our beer is available throughout the Southeast.
