Saddle Up Your Forklift - It's Rodeo Time at Albert Moving and Storage

For the third year in a row, the employees of Albert Moving and Storage participated in a "Movers Rodeo." The Albert rodeo, on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, featured events that wouldn't quite fit on the "real" rodeo circuit.

At the Albert "Movers Rodeo," competition is among the crews who are experienced movers of household goods. The event is planned as a fun way to infuse quality methods into every activity the crews are called on to perform each day.

Like a "real" rodeo, Albert Moving features team events that at times require several people's individual skills working together to win an event. Teams of judges time every event and look for quick, safe, highly skilled execution of the requirements.

"We are really excited about the building skills and the enthusiasm being generated among our employees over the Albert rodeo. I believe it is a great opportunity for our experienced employees to come together, have some fun, and learn how to work smarter at the same time," said Bobby Albert, president of Albert Moving and Storage.

The competition ran from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Albert Moving and Storage's 4401 Barnett Road location. The competitive games began with a brief opening ceremony at 8:30 and closed with an employee lunch at 11:30 a.m.
