Midwest Fusion Studio Launches New Approach to Physical & Mental Well-Being

Not your typical Pilates studio. With its bi-level 3,000 sq. ft. space, exposed brick walls, gallery art, Zen details, and new Fusion programs, clients quickly see that Vered Arbel's Elements in Motion offers a very unique approach to physical and mental well-being.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 2, 2007 -- Elements in Motion, located in Chicago's Lincoln Park/Lakeview neighborhood, is not your typical Pilates studio. With its bi-level 3,000 sq. ft. space, exposed brick walls, gallery art, Zen details, and new Fusion programs, clients quickly see that Vered Arbel's Elements in Motion offers a very unique approach to physical and mental well-being.

The Fusion programs which are exclusive to Elements in Motion, are developed by Arbel and her brother Tal Amasay. They work to combine several different exercise techniques to achieve optimal results. Because the studio works closely with local physical therapy centers and hospitals to offer continued rehabilitation after prescribed therapies, Arbel's programs change often to include the latest research in sports and rehabilitation. Their new programs include; Sports-Specific, Pilates Endurance & Aerobic Circuit workouts, Fitness Fusion, Bridal Fusion, Pre/post-natal, and Seniors. Recently Tai Chi, Meditation, Nia, Yoga, Elemental Golf Fit, Elemental Toddlers, Kids & Teens, and Nutrition Consulting have been added as well.

"Our mission is to help our clients increase their body awareness, eliminate muscle imbalance, and gain a greater range of motion and flexibility--while also challenging their minds," states owner Vered Arbel. Her goal is to accomplish this in an environment that reflects an all-encompassing fusion studio rather than your typical fitness facility.

Arbel opened Elements in Motion in 2000 as a mecca for clients and students alike. It is the first and only licensed STOTT Pilates studio and training center in the Chicagoland area. Derived from Joseph H. Pilates' renowned method, STOTT Pilates preserves the essence of the original method while incorporating the contemporary knowledge of biomechanics.

About: Arbel began her career dancing with leading dance companies in Israel and performed at dance festivals throughout Europe and the USA. She is a certified dance instructor for the Royal Academy of Dancing in London, a certified personal trainer with the American Counsel of Sports Medicine, a STOTT Pilates Certified Instructor Trainer, and is currently pursuing her degree in exercise science.

Amasay has a master of Exercise Science in Biomechanics and is currently pursuing Doctoral studies in Human Physiology with a focus on Biomechanics.

Elements in Motion has worked with many organizations in the community along with performing artists from various Chicago productions such as "The Producers" and "Wicked", as well as dancers from local dance companies.
