Canadian Hockey Fan Wins Stanley Cup Tickets in Poker Game

With just over 24 hours to go before the puck dropped for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and ticket prices climbing into the stratosphere, Jason Inman was beginning to lose hope he would get to see his favorite team, the Ottawa Senators, play. That was until he decided to put his poker skills to good use. Friday night Jason won two prime tickets and a night any hockey fan dreams of playing in a charity poker tournament at TigerGaming.net.

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) June 7, 2007 -- With just over 24 hours to go before the puck dropped for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and ticket prices climbing into the stratosphere Jason Inman, was beginning to lose hope he would get to see his favorite team, the Ottawa Senators, play. That was until he decided to put his poker skills to good use.

As it turned out, Canada's longest running play-for-fun poker site TigerGaming.net was running a free online poker tournament Friday night and giving away two prime 100 level tickets to the hottest game in town, limousine transportation to ScotiaBank Place and a food and beverage budget for the night.

It was a Texas Hold'em tournament and Jason beat out hundreds of other competitors from Ottawa and area over several hours of poker play. When the smoked cleared he was the excited owner of the tickets.

On top of all that TigerGaming.net also donated $1 for every participant to Roger's House and Ottawa Palliative care center. Roger's House is dedicated to providing pediatric palliative care with the objective of enhancing the comfort and quality of life for children and their families.

Sean Harris, TigerGaming's Poker Manager, explained their reasons for organizing the tourney: "We were moved by the story of Alexander 'Elgin' Fraser, and respect the excellent work done by Roger's House. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to support this worthy cause and share in Ottawa's celebration of their team."

Jason hopes the winning trend in the city doesn't stop with him as the Senators head into Game 3 at 8 o'clock ET Saturday night.

TigerGaming.net is committed to running games that set the highest standard for fairness, security and privacy. On all games, players play against other players from around the world. TigerGaming.net provides a safe, fair and fun venue for people to enjoy poker.
