Next Generation Electric Scooters Arrive in London

A new range of advanced electric mopeds has reached London, with Italian styling, state-of-the-art Silicon batteries, incredibly low running costs and surprisingly reasonable prices.

London, England (PRWEB) June 15, 2007 -- Londoners can now travel effortlessly, cleanly and quietly around town on powerful new electric scooters, from Future Vehicles - London's innovative next generation vehicle specialist.

The scooters are comparable in power to a 50cc petrol scooter, but run purely on electricity, creating absolutely no emissions and very little noise.

If charged with electricity sourced from renewable suppliers, they really can represent totally emission-free transport. And according to Greenpeace, electric scooters have only one tenth the environmental impact of their petrol equivalents.

They will travel 40 miles on a charge (on mixed London roads 30 miles) and once bought cost little more than a new fridge to run. One charge costs about 10p, so the cost per mile is just 0.3p! They also are exempt from road tax, the London Congestion Charge and most parking charges. A service costs just £50.

The G2000R has styling reminiscent of its petrol counterparts from Italy. It is equipped with a powerful motor, and a boost button for even more power when needed, making it very easy to ride - anyone can just hop on and whizz away.

Technologically, the G2000R represents a major step forward from most of its peers. It uses Silicon battery technology, which has the following benefits:
- double the lifespan of lead gel batteries
- no decrease in efficiency in lower temperatures
- no susceptibility to memory effect
- minimal environmental impact on disposal

Please visit www.futurevehicles.co.uk if you would like to find out more, or to arrange a test drive of one of these revolutionary vehicles.

NB Licence Requirements:

Most riders will be able to ride without any further tests, but it is advisable to take the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) - a one day course costing around £90, designed for riders who have not ridden a scooter before.
