June 23rd Declared "Girls Gone Riding for Charity" Day

The villages of Wauconda, Libertyville, Northbrook and Mundelein in Illinois declare June 23, 2007 as "Girls Gone Riding...for Charity" Day in support of the 1st Annual Girls Gone Riding Motorcycle Charity Event.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 15, 2007 -- June 23, 2007 has officially been deemed "Girls Gone Riding…for Charity" Day by the villages of Northbrook, Lincolnwood, Wauconda and Mundelein in Illinois.

The presidents of these townships have issued official proclamations in support of the 1st Annual "Girls Gone Riding…for Charity" motorcycle event. Not only are these proclamations in support of the event and the Chicago Abused Women Coalition, they are also signs of solidarity for the fight against domestic violence. Grassroots efforts go a long way towards garnering support for this worthwhile cause and the thousands of others like it.

This overwhelming show of support has fueled great anticipation in the final 20 days leading up to the ride. Lend your voice. Do your part. Join us in the fight against domestic violence.

If you are a motorcycle enthusiast of any gender, then please consider riding on Saturday, June 23. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and riders will depart Soldiers Field promptly at 10:00 a.m.
