Austin, TX (PRWEB) June 14, 2007 -- Following a decade of noteworthy accomplishment, Class Adventure Travel (CAT) - a pioneer in the field of online Latin American Tourism - has recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Celebrations included some exciting festivities for staff and clientele as well as the release of a number of enticing tours to Brazil on its website.
T hese exclusive tours include the very best that Brazil has on offer with a number of novel and attractive destination combinations and extra options. Characteristic of Class Adventure Travel, their new and exclusive online Brazil tours comprise of only the highest quality and best service available - tour attributes for which the company has become both widely known and highly regarded over the past 10 years.
"For our 10th year anniversary we wanted to offer our clientele something special," says Bart de Graaf - CTO and co-founder of CAT. Class adventure Travel has in fact had an operational office running in Sao Paolo since 2004, which of course gives the company a huge helping hand in the running and maintenance of tours in the country. Unlike most online travel companies selling tours to Latin America - CAT's offices in Brazil, and elsewhere across Latin America, enable them to not only offer the very best within each country, but also help them keep an eye on their clients during each stage of their journey. The fact that CAT has had an office in Brazil for close to 3 years before offering online tours is explained as de Graaf continues, "We believe in perfection and always like to take enough time in order to fully develop and optimize the ultimate tours before releasing them on our website for our online clientele."
The CAT website recently went though a complete refurbishment and now has a very alluring design. As a result the new Brazil tours look superb and are set out in such a way as to be engaging and eye-catching - a taste of what to expect upon the tours themselves. Rio de Janeiro, Iguacu, Salvador, the Amazon, and the beaches of the south are at the center of these new packages - each of which encourage clientele to customize and tailor make journeys that ideally suit their every need and desire by giving them the chance to choose from a list of extra options, additional tour combinations, and their preferred hotels. "We wanted to put something together for our website that would appeal to prospective clients in the same way our Peru tours do," explains Sales Director Marc Harrison, "We needed to offer them the best comfort and security available while still offering them something unique, exciting and new. Since the very beginning CAT has worked towards providing the best there is - and with Brazil I think we've managed to do just this."
Over the past ten years the company has expanded considerably and online Brazil tours look set to be at the forefront of many more successful future ventures. So how did CAT begin? Well, it all started years ago when founder Bart de Graaf - after having trekked through some of Ecuador's innermost jungle - first dreamt up the idea of opening a travel company. He returned to Holland where he and co-founder Karin Deen began to develop the foundations of what would one day become Class Adventure Travel. In Bart's words, "CAT evolved out of making two of my dreams a reality: firstly of turning my greatest hobby into a professional way of living, and secondly helping to build a bridge between Latin America and the rest of the world."
Against the advice of many - the couple decided to officially start CAT in Peru as it was the Latin American country with the most potential at that time. The first office was opened in 1997 in Miraflores, Lima. After the company's successful inception, the founders watched CAT grow from a small scale Peruvian operation to a large scale Latin American Enterprise. The success of the Lima office led to the opening of a second Peruvian office in Cusco in 2000 which would help with the growing number of clientele traveling to the ancient heart of the Inca Empire - and of course to Machu Picchu. After having firmly established themselves as one of the most important incoming tour operators in Peru it was time to look outwards.
The Brazilian office in Sao Paolo opened in 2004, and later in the same year the CAT headquarters for Argentina and Chile opened in Buenos Aires. Following this venture CAT formed alliances with a number of affiliate travel groups in other Latin American countries - and it wasn't long before the company was able to offer tours across the continent. While always having had a website, it was at this point that CAT decided to further develop their online sales department and a new website was created. The new website gave the company a better look and feel, gave the client more freedom and options than they had had received anywhere else previously, and moved CAT clearly into the lead in the field of online Latin American travel. Mirroring CAT's history, their online sales platform primarily offered Peru tours before branching outwards across the continent. Now after ten years - the company looks set to make an impression in the international tourist market with their new tours to Brazil.
Another interesting feature of the website is Bart's Blog - an area where de Graaf posts comments and articles about his favorite tours and destinations, and leaves the forum open for fellow Class Adventure Travelers to ask questions and discuss the highs and lows of their trips.
The future looks bright with CAT as they set to expand even further with online tours to Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia already in the pipeline. Described by Footprint Travel Guides as "One of the best, highly recommended," and by Frommers as "One of the best travel agencies to contact," Class Adventure Travel also have their future sights set on Central America. Most recently CAT have opened an office in Costa Rica - a venture that will give the company the opportunity to offer tours in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama, and will give CAT's clientele the opportunity of undertaking the very best on offer in each of the Central American countries.
After 10 years Class Adventure Travel is still gathering momentum; and with an interesting and dynamic website, an innovative and enthusiastic team, and some novel ideas, they are no doubt set to continue being a leader in the Latin American online travel industry for the foreseeable future.
