Matthew & Gunnar Nelson to Kick Off L.L. Bean's 95th Birthday Celebration
The Nelson Brothers will help kick off the 95th birthday festivities for L.L. Bean early this summer when they headline the star-studded L.L. Bean Summer Concert Series at Discovery Park in Freeport, Maine on Saturday, June 23rd. Matthew & Gunnar Nelson, twin sons of Rock'n'Roll Legend Ricky Nelson, of multi-platinum rock group Nelson have been announced as one of the major national music-recording artists scheduled to perform at the annual summer concert series kicking off early this season in honor of L.L. Bean's 95th anniversary. Their concert will feature a tribute to their late father's famous hits including their new rendition of Ricky Nelson's "Travelin' Man", recently released on the exclusive Target CD, "A Song for My Father".

The Nelson Brothers have been announced as one of the major national music-recording artists performing to jump-start the incredible free annual summer concert series early this season in honor of L.L. Bean's 95th anniversary.
Matthew Nelson and Gunnar Nelson are the twin sons of Rock'n'Roll Legend Ricky Nelson, of rock group Nelson whose pop/rock hits include (Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection, After the Rain, and More Than Ever. As the grandsons of TV's Ozzie & Harriet, they are part of America's First Family of Entertainment. The Nelson Brothers are performing in the L.L. Bean Summer Concert Series on Saturday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. at L.L. Bean's Discovery Park, next to their flagship store, in Freeport, Maine. Guests can bring their lawn chairs to the free concert -- rain or shine. The Nelsons' show, 'Remembering Ricky Nelson', features a tribute to their late father's popular music including his famous hits. The Nelson Brothers plan to perform their new rendition of Ricky Nelson's Travelin' Man, recently released on the exclusive Target CD, A Song for My Father.
