Caribbean Summer Festival to Electrify Brooklyn with David Rudder, Ce'cile, Shurwayne Winchester, Crazy and Other artists

This summer something culturally exciting will take place in Brooklyn. Every Sunday, from July 01 - September 02, the food, culture, arts, and entertainment of the Caribbean will meet at one spot - Carifest Sundays.

Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) June 17, 2007 -- This summer something culturally exciting will take place in Brooklyn. Every Sunday, from July 01 - September 02, the food, culture, arts, and entertainment of the Caribbean will meet at one spot - Carifest Sundays. The event, taking place in the outdoor facility of C-PAC in Brooklyn, New York, aims to unite the community, help us enjoy our culture, and to enable us to share the Caribbean culture.

During the day, Carifest Sundays will serve as the exciting Caribbean market-place from 12 - 8 pm, which will showcase numerous vendors and cultural entertainment. During the evening, 8 - 10 pm, the event will transform into an evening show featuring various headliners and bands.
The July schedule is as follows:

Carifest Sundays will be kept in the outdoor/ indoor facility of C-PAC Center (E 48 & Farrgut ave.,) Brooklyn, New York. The event will feature food and tourism information from the different islands, local vendors, steel pan music, comedy, live fashion shows, film, labor day carnival costumes and cultural entertainment. Some of the scheduled artists are David Rudder, Ce'Cile, and Shurwayne Winchester among others. Admission to event is $5 before 6pm.
