The USA to Get Happy this Summer

The happiest tour on earth is back! Kicking off June 23rd in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and wrapping up in Dallas, Texas on August, 26th, the Get Happy tour is an all ages welcome, fan friendly, rock and roll show that's set to play over 40 dates throughout the USA this summer.
Dress Like A Pirate Night

Dallas, TX (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) June 29, 2007 -- The traveling rock circus will be headlined by the Grammy nominated, laugh out load rockers, Bowling For Soup and will also features 3 of the hottest upcoming bands in music today, Quiet Drive, Melee and
Army Of Freshmen.

Fgethappy.jpgounded last summer by Bowling For Soup and Army of Freshmen, the tour was created to "make rock and roll fun again" and give an option to music fans beyond the slew of heavy metal and screamo tours that only cater to one "very unhappy" audience.

What truly sets the event apart from just another regular tour is the level of fan interaction. On every single date of the tour there's a different theme and or event that all the bands, along with fans, participate in. From parking lot waffle ball games to Alligator Park day trips to ever popular "Dress Like A Pirate Night", the night goes far beyond the show. Fans get to hang out directly with their favorite artists and the audience make up is everyone from teens at their first concert to grandparents!

As the always animated Bowling For Soup front man, Jaret Reddick proclaims, "Get Happy is heating up for year 2 and early reports out of our top secret headquarters seem to confirm the fact that this is gonna be one amazing summer! We've got a ton of surprises in store for every stop and frankly this could be the best tour since Clash of the Titans...and that was a good one."

After an inaugural run that played to over 75,000 people last summer, the Get Happy Tour went international where it was wildly embraced in the United Kingdom selling out in advance and playing to over 25,000 people in just 12 shows last February. The tour has already been booked a return to the UK in October that features Bowling For Soup, The Bloodhound Gang, Zebrahead and Army of Freshmen.

So this summer instead of being screamed at by scary guys in make up, you're invited to the premiere feel good event of the rock and roll year. Be ready to rock, be ready to laugh and most of all... be ready to GET HAPPY!
