(PRWEB) July 5, 2007 -- Leading Insurance intermediary Kwik-Fit Insurance was recently rewarded for its continued focus on training employees to deliver the highest levels of customer service.
Drivers calling the firm for car insurance can rest assured that thanks to Kwik-fit Insurance's 12-week induction training, which has now been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Insurance, they will reach a highly skilled professional at the other end of the telephone each and every time they call.
The insurance intermediary, which was named the Cheapest Online Car Insurance Provider in 2006, received the award from the CII thanks to its professional training delivered to new insurance advisors upon joining the company.
Head of HR and Training for Kwik-Fit Insurance Lynne Miller, commented: "Our people are trained to a very high standard not only to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the job in hand but to instil confidence that their knowledge and skills are extensive enough to accommodate almost any customer enquiry."
"Our people are some of the best trained in the industry and it's great that this been recognised by the CII."
Martin Oliver, managing director of Kwik-Fit Insurance, was delighted to welcome members of the CII including Business Development Director, Norrie Erwin, to the business to showcase the company's Training Academy.
Martin said: "To be recognised as an employer who takes our training obligation very seriously is a real achievement for us. Our business is only successful because our employees are happy and our customers continue to get value for money and a high level of customer service."
"This accreditation is not only great for our customers but also our people, who now gain an industry recognised qualification on completion of our training. "Kwik-Fit Insurance offers a strong clear career path with plenty of room to progress and the recognition from the CII reinforces this message and that we're not just a stop-gap or stepping stone onto something else.
"To be amongst the best in the industry for training and customer satisfaction is fantastic and to maintain this high standard will take ongoing commitment from all of our people."
The recent recognition from the CII was reinforced as Kwik-Fit Insurance was listed in the top ten list of best insurers in the UK this week, coming in at 8th place. The survey carried out with 30,000 drivers by motoring magazine Auto Express, graded insurers on communication, helpfulness, value of money and performance.
Business Development Director for CII, Norrie Erwin added: "Last year Kwik-Fit were recognised as Personal Lines Broker of the Year 2006 at the British Insurance Awards; this year they have gained CII accreditation for insurance, showing that they are clearly putting even greater emphasis on the training in their contact centre, further enhancing the service they provide."
