LifeLine Entertainment to Re-release Rocky Costanzo's Directorial Debut Film, 'Return to Innocence,' this November

Independent film company Lifeline Entertainment announces the release of a restored and digitally re-mastered version of its 2001 feature-length motion picture "Return to Innocence." The re-mastered DVD, which includes all-new bonus features, will be available worldwide on November 13, 2007.

Huntington Beach, CA (PRWEB) July 16, 2007 -- In the summer of 2000, the independent film company LifeLine Entertainment went into production on its first feature-length motion picture "Return to Innocence," an unsettling court drama based on the acclaimed novel by author Gary M. Frazier that chronicles a man accused of sexually abusing a young boy. The self-distributed "Collector's Edition" DVD surfaced in 2003 and has sold thousands of copies and received rave reviews, despite the fact that it was shot on a shoestring budget.

Today, the company announced that it has restored and digitally re-mastered the film, along with a brand new 5.1 Dolby surround audio mix. All-new bonus features include the never-before-seen theatrical trailer, a reunion documentary called "Returning to Innocence," which catches up with the cast members seven years later, new audio commentary and more.

It's amazing what a face lift can do when put in the hands of professionals.
LifeLine is in the final stages of the worldwide DVD release late this November. "We're very excited about this," explains the film's director, Rocky Costanzo. "This re-release is exactly what we wanted to do all along but couldn't afford to do back in 2003." The new DVD will finally give its viewers a chance see the film as a film, rather than a standard video movie, as the entire film was professionally re-mastered in 24p with Filmlook's da vinci suite and the old mono mix was enhanced into a 5.1 stereo surround sound mix for the best picture and sound possible. "It's night and day," explains both producer, Chris Wolcott and executive producer Roy Thomasson. "It's amazing what a face lift can do when put in the hands of professionals."

The re-mastered DVD will be available worldwide on November 13, 2007. For more info on "Return to Innocence," visit the official website at www.rtimovie.com.
