Apocket Bleu to Perform at Legendary Stone Pony Night Club

Apocket Bleu is one of youngest bands to ever play the legendary club.

(PRWEB) July 29, 2007 -- On Tuesday August 7th, The Stone Pony will welcome back part of the youngest band ever to play there. This time, former Bleak City band mates Paul LoPresti (keys, vocals) and Alexander "Sandy" Eldred (bass, vocals) will rock the house with their original songs. The two have been collaborating since rejoining forces after both left the band known as Bleak City, which had been the youngest band ever to play the club at the time of their engagement in 2005.

Hailing from the Atlantic City area, they have named the new band Apocket Bleu and have enjoyed rising success with their jazz and classical infused original rock tunes. They are joined by Kevin Kern (drums, guitar, vocals) and Ryan Schugar (guitar, drums, vocals). The four young men meld their individual styles and draw from a variety of genres to craft a unique sound not heard from other bands their age. They are highly talented and knowledgeable musicians with tremendous playing experience.

The result is a sophisticated sound with rich instrumentals and unique sounding vocals. Two of the band members work as sound engineers at Super Duperz recording studio in Ventnor, NJ. where they have further developed their "ear" for music while working sessions for many varied musicians and bands. The band played as part of Barnegat Township's Fourth of July celebration and has been asked to return for their annual Pirate's Day in early September.

Since then, their calendar continues to fill with opportunities which are sure to continue. Individual band member's biographies can be found on their website, along with MP3s, video footage, and more. Visit www.apocketbleu.com and prepare to be blown away by these fabulous, up and coming musicians.

Be a part of history and come hear this band while they are still a "local" act. For more information contact Neil Cirucci Public Relations at cindymargolispr(at)aol.com and 609-513-1689
