Fitness Expert Michael Wood Launches New Health & Fitness Blog
Fitness expert Michael Wood, CSCS, has launched a new health and fitness web blog that will be used as a platform to discuss the latest industry related issues and trends. Various topics will include reports on weight loss, strength training, sports performance and nutritional topics.
Norwell, MA (PRWEB) July 29, 2007 -- Michael Wood, CSCS, is widely recognized as one of the nation's top fitness experts. He serves as chief fitness officer at Koko Fitness, which develops interactive software and hardware for the $60B worldwide fitness and wellness industry. He is founder of the Sports Performance Group, an award-winning fitness consulting company. Michael has developed 20 exercise programs that are currently featured on the Koko Smartrainer®, a new strength training product powered by technology. The product is now in health clubs, hotels, YMCA and physical therapy clinics across the country.
Michael's previous work has included writing a monthly fitness column for Walking Magazine entitled "One Minute Moves" as well as a health and fitness column for HealthGate.com called "Ask the Trainer" that was eventually seen on more than 650 medical websites during his three-year tenure. His work has also appeared in hundreds of fitness publications and a dozen peer-reviewed scientific journals. His recent honors have included Boston Magazine "Best of Boston" as well as being named twice consecutively to Men's Journal Top 100 Trainers list. In the December 2004 issue, Men's Journal also included Michael on their trainer "Dream Team," comprised of the nine best trainers in the U.S.
